Annette Eis | French Horn

Annette Eis, a native of the Green Bay area, started playing horn in sixth grade. Finding that she had a passion for playing the horn, Annette attended St. Norbert College. Studying under the instruction of Dr. Linda Cook, Annette graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree in performance in 2006. Annette continued her professional studies with Prof. Gregory Flint at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee where she earned a Master of Music degree in 2009. During her time at UWM, Annette auditioned for and was accepted into the 132nd Army Band in Madison, Wisconsin. There she plays with the concert band, marches in parades, and plays in the brass quintet. One of Annetteā€™s favorite jobs she does in the band is playing in the brass quintet for troops that are returning home.

Along with playing with the Army Band, Annette is an avid performer and freelancer. She currently plays with the Fox Valley Horn Choir, the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh Horn Choir, the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay Brass Ensemble, the Green Bay Civic Symphony, the St. Norbert College Community Band, the Two Rivers Municipal Band, and other various groups. As well as being an active performer, Annette also enjoys teaching private lessons and being a clinician at summer music camps and festivals.
