Christina Beaupre | Clarinet

Christina Beaupre, a native of the Green Bay area, began playing clarinet at the age of ten. She studied under Dr. Fredrick Schmidt at St. Norbert College where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Music degree in clarinet performance. Christina continued her professional studies with Dr. Caroline Hartig at Michigan State University where she earned a Master of Music degree. Before moving back to Wisconsin in 2008, Christina spent two years in Cincinnati, Ohio. During this time she performed with such groups as the Kentucky Symphony Orchestra and studied under Jonathan Gunn, the Associate Principal and Eb Clarinetist of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra.

In addition to maintaining an active performing schedule, Christina is also a dedicated music educator.  She has instructed a range of students in ages and abilities as a public school teacher and a private instructor.  She has served as a clinician and assisted in band camps within the Midwest. Currently, Christina teaches music in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin.
